What did you cut through at the end for it to stop like that.

nothing was cut through and the turbo did not stop, what happened was the hold that was used to ignite the propane was just an open hole at the time of the test. Hauns tried to lean the air to fuel mix out by using the compressed air that was used to start the turbo. This resulted in the system being over pressurized and thus the rubber fittings blew off of the intake side of the combustion chamber.

Nothing was cut, the rubber fitting blew off of the intake side of the flame tube when the system was over pressurized.

You've rooted that exhaust turbine, it's been well and truly overheated. If you're going to try and run it again - stand *well* clear because there's a very good chance it will fragment, possibly causing catastrophic results.

It's been ran several times since this video was taken, no fragmentation or failure has occurred. The intake side of the turbo does exactly what it's designed to do, stay cool, while the exhaust side takes all the heat. Besides before this device was run many times two smaller turbos were ran and accidentally destroyed when the shaft bearing froze. And what do you mean rooted?
