  • That was a wonderful civilization ^_^

  • Could be too the availability of monatomic gold - dissolved in the rivers, was part of the deal ... a lucky find, considering that if ingested along with other rare & trace noble metals: platinum, silver, & copper in assorted degrees - enhances one's health & well being ... the Egyptians knew this as did other cultures ... it supposedly contributed to the longevity (almost 900 years) of ancients like Methusulah in the 5 books of the bible, etc.

  • The use of sheep skin to extract gold from rivers was also found as part of Scythian culture, who were found to the East of Greek controlled regions. The Scythians were originally found in the Caucasus Mountains and their ancient religious practices included the golden fleece being hung on a birch tree to dry on top of the holy Mount Elbrus in the Caucasus Mountains with festivities surrounding its making. The work-man-ship of the Scythians in gold, was also historically highly reknowned.

  • to say that Jason was a 'westerner' is really a very stupid statement to make. In ancient times, all of the people who came to the Mediterranean were originally from Middle Eastern Semitic cultures and civilisations in the first place, with the Myceanean Greek civilisations spreading around the Mediterranean from Syria the source of the ancient Mediterranean cultures and civilisations in the first place, long long long before the concept of 'Western' Euro/American cultures even emerged.
