  • Great advice! I found your information after having problems on my 05 R1200GS. I ended up dremeling down to the wires and unsoldering the leads from the old switch, then re-soldering them back to the new switch after installation. Didn’t have to splice any wires. Thanks!

    Thanks to your tip, I was able to identify the switch as the culprit for my inop right turn switch. Were you able to get the switch through your BMW motorcycle dealer? Thanks.

    I've seen your video a few weeks ago. I just washed my '05 RT last weekend and now it has the same problem as you had !
