CNN takes on Murtha, earmarks

CNN looks at Congressional Democrats and earmarks, concludes: "the democrats promised reform. It's not happening."

Also:

* "What does congressman Murtha have to say in defense of the National Drug Intelligence Center here in Pennsylvania? Surprisingly, nothing at all."

* "[A Murtha] Spokesman told us the requests had all been submitted. They are available for review with the committee. Then we got another e-mail saying that he was mistaken, those earmarks aren't available for review after all."

Murtha is a DICK. Plain & simple.

His horrible & borderline-illegal behavior since serving in the military negates his service to our country in my eyes. (1) saying he'd consider taking a bribe at a later time in the undercover FBI "Abscam" sting. (2) accusing, trying, & convicting the "Haditha Marines" in the press & as a US Rep. (Almost all were later cleared of all the serious charges.)

Etc...etc.

Gotta at least give credit to CNN for this report. I about fainted when CNN did it!

Murtha at least has served his country honorably in the military unlike the draft evaders we have as pres and VP now who want to show they are men by sending our troops into harm's way because they didnt have the balls to serve their country themselves..Murtha has always been right about the war even though his latest comment was silly...we are creating a Shiite pro-Iranian govt in Iraq! thanks to US blood and money! that is the bottom line on this silly war

This is a great post- there are tons of earmarks "kickbacks" to supporters of congress Even George Bush inserted thousands of his own earmarks after threatening to veto if the earmarks were not cut! federal Government seems corrupt on many levels. Thanks for the great video.

the politicans can be controlled because they are dependent on the media. and on other congressmen's votes, who can be instructed to not support anothers bills who speaks up by whoever funds them(see aipac documentary). this clip is an example of the media talking about a politician after he spoke out against the war.
