@koldusopera Sharif Maimon? He's Israelite in any case. Let's nor forget most Israelites that remained in Israel during the Arabian and Ottoman occupation periods were gradually forced to adopt an Arabian/Islamic cultural identity. Some of them became Druze though. The same happened in Egypt, Assyria and Babylon. Today their descendants only speak Arabic. They no longer know Coptic, Hebrew or Aramaic, except for a few minorities.
