Sam Nyamweya is the new Football Kenya National Chairman after he won the poll that took place on Saturday countrywide. Nyamweya's win was officially announced by the FIFA-sanctioned Independent Electoral Board (IEB) who received the results from the Interim Independent Electoral Commisiion (IIEC) with Hussein Mohammed and Mohammed Hatimy coming in second and third respectively. Former Harambee Stars player Sammy Sholei will be Nyamweya's second in command after he won the race for Vice-Chairman's seat. Shollei was in the same camp with defeated Hussein Mohamed.
