This is the video I promised about my 1st pregnancy and labor with my son Joel. Feel free to ask any questions. I also forgot to mention that when you have the triple screen test you want to make sure you have your dates correct or it can cause a false positive on this test. That is most likely why I had my false positive result.
Thanks for watching and please comment, rate, appreciate:)

  • That Stupid nurse! Wow, I didn't know having your waters intact cushions the labor pains! That is awesome to know and makes so much sense! I was fine until they broke my water and then i was in terrible pain!

  • Yeah some people are just like that I guess.. It makes me think of the movie Juno.. have you seen it.. the ultrasound tech says some really stupid stuff to her. Its a good movie.

Yeah its crazy how much the water cushions the pains of labor.. but usually once they break your water it speeds things up... but the contractions just get crazy intense.

  • aww do yo uhave any pictures from your first two pregnancies?

  • I don't really have any belly pictures from my 1st one. I do have a few with my second one though.

  • If you are not yet pregnant, you should strongly consider charting your temperatures and cervical mucus so that you will know for sure when you conceived. Being able to date the pregnancy accurately can save a lot of problems during prenatal testing and around delivery time!

  • However, many labs refuse to take into account differing cycle lengths and will only go by the LMP, since many women are not sure exactly when they usually ovulate or when they conceived that cycle. This can cause problems in interpreting the results correctly. Be SURE your health provider is aware of this potential problem if your cycles run shorter or longer than 28 days or are irregular.

  • Dating the pregnancy accurately is also EXTREMELY important in eliminating false abnormal results. Most labs date via a woman's Last Menstrual Period (LMP). This assumes your cycle to be about 28 days long, and assumes you ovulated on about Day 14. If your cycle is significantly longer, you probably ovulate later than Day 14, and your baby may be younger than the LMP figures would indicate. This can skew results significantly---even a few days can make a difference.

  • if I knew what kind of this test is (triple screen tests) I wouldnt have gone for it.

Based on the story you told me that when you were 18 years of age and the results were ridiculous. One thing which I dont understand is if the tests doesnt indicate the exact situation then why these kinds of tests are prescribed.

Will write you later... by the way your two sons are just adorable.

  • The doc said you can leave if you want, we will scan the reports through mail. And within 2 days of me coming back to Moscow, I got the reports saying you have an increased risk of trisomy 18 (ratio 1:95) but their cut off list was 1:100 (the one they considered safe).

For the last 2 days I have been howling, depressed and stressed out like crazy.

Now I am going back to India to get amnio done,(because i dont trust moscow docs

  • You are absolutely right here regarding triple screen test.

I am 29 years old. I am 17 weeks pregnant I was in India a week back they did the triple screen testing and then in a day I had to leave with my hubby to Moscow(where he works).

  • Haha I totally agree about the Epidural! I wanted to wait as long as I could but once I got to 6cm I was SOOOOO ready for it! And it was sooooo amazing lol! Ahhh and I would have punched that nurse! Geeeezzeee!

  • terrifying. When I woke up I couldn't talk, I could still barely breath, and I couldn't move my limbs. they still didn't know who I was. When David arrived he told them, they rushed to get my file. I remember hearing, "OHHH You're pregnant!" lol
