  • Where oh where did you get the "DAMN RIGHT IT'S A HONDA" Tshirt??????

  • @NavyVBSS - Jeez, I wish I could tell you for sure.... I want to think that it might have been from someone on the forums at "The Spirit World", but it was really a long time back. I do recall that I only had the bike a couple years when I got that. I make it a point to wear when I'm riding with my Harley-owner friends. Everyone seems to get a large charge out of it.

  • Nice stuff! So, you just captured into Stu 12 directly from the camera's firewire out? Any issues with that? The issue you're having with transitions does happen to me once in a while too, so I don't think it's related to your particular configuration...

  • @zilchmcwee - This was a fun video to make. I'll be anxious to see what I can do "better" when I switch to Sony Vegas 11 HD pro. I'm not yet shooting a lot of HD yet, although I have two new HD cameras. I might want to upgrade my editing machine before really launching into too much of that. HD really taxes you system (and your patience). Unlike the SD cameras, the HD cameras are small enough to bolt to the handlebars. Might be some fun stuff coming in the future!!!!

  • Where you able to use the factory headlight mount for the new headlight?

  • @alm0266 - Yes, I was, with a slight addition. I retained the two "tabs" that stuck up from the lower fork support. The light itself had two similar tabs. Given that, there was no way I could bolt those together and ever get them tight. I went to Menards, and bought a bar of aluminum and crafted a block to fit in between the tabs to take up the room. Allowed everything to tighten up and stay all proper.

  • @THEARMEDLIFE - Thanks! Yeah, they are custom, made for the Spirit 750 by "Burb", a fellow that used to be on "The Spirit World", an on-line forum for these bikes. Burb kinda dropped off the planet now unfortunately. These pipes used to be chromed, however they are single wall (no heat shrouds), and my bike was running waaaay out of mix for a while and they blued really bad. I had them ceramic-coated in a satin silver, and they look great. Now, they;ll never blue. Thanks for watching!!!

  • wow love the pipe's are they custom?

  • @mcresq65 Yeah man I agree with the factory seats not being comfy. I didn't change it out... I wanted to, but I had already spent so much $ on getting my bike ready and gear for my trip that I just had to suck it up. It's definitely on my to-do list for my next big trip.

  • @YoungAmericanOutback - Certainly do still ride, as much as schedule and grandchildren allow. For an 8 year old bike, it still looks great. I almost said brand-new, which would be in error. My bike has been changed a lot from a "new" factory look. A 4000-mile trip huh?!?!? Boy, I hope you changed out that stock seat, or that would kill your backside!!!! Factory seats on these bikes.... meh, not so comfy.
