This is total false....Bernie Miller wrote this song, and these are his words: No. No. No. I was in the Memphis studio playing on the piano when Don came in and heard my music. He said my music fit something he was working on. So he took my music,and merged it with his. A week later, when we met at his house,and he started playing the music, I said " it sounds like rain against my window bringing back sweet memories". That's how the song was born. im white, 26 and i know my music from aretha, to tina, to gladys, Pattie and many more, but most importantly i know about the the great music before them that is not so sung about which is a shame, music like Ella & Rosetta Tharpe, Mahalia Jackson, nat king cole, howling wolf, muddy waters etc..... there are so many that are un heard of or celebrated for truely putting music on the map. and yes im 26 its called education of music. for sakes if it wernt for previouse we would not have today.xxx
