@UpToEleven11 I think on average it has gotten better if you consider slavery, gladiators and public executions, etc., also the education of the average citizen as well as financial position is better. However, it's definitely gotten worse since maybe the 50s.

I would like to see a catholic in modern 21st century, dropped into the middle of the African savannah with nothing but a bible and the clothes on their backs and watch their savior let them starve, dehydrate and be mauled to death by wild animals. The world is only a blessing when your sitting in a house reading your bible while sipping on some tea looking down on those you deem to be sinners. If your God loves you so much put faith in him and drink some cyanide with faith God will save you.
