This is a brilliant demonstration. Until watching this, the only thing I knew to do when my sensei went jodan against me was try to hit kote before something bad happens :D
@sweden19730101 Probably habit. In shinsa, tsuki is rarely used because it is a dangerous target. As such, kenkoda will pull their shinai down to the ground after making contact as to not risk injury.
is that also Jeff Hum Sensei??
