Pitbulls are the most hated dogs in the world. As a breed, theyre no more aggressive than any others. They beat out most other breeds in temperament tests performed by the American Temperament Test Society, including the Golden Retriever and Poodle, but bad owners create dogs that are unpredictable. These dogs are not properly socialized to people, children and other animals. They are not properly trained, and theyre owned by irresponsible, ignorant people that refuse to take responsibility for their dogs training. Because of them, Pitbulls have gone from being the all-American breed, prized for their loyalty and intelligence, to the most feared and misunderstood breed ever known.

All breeds bite, but the most feared get plastered all over the news. Also, Pitbulls are often wrongly accused because people incorrectly identify the breed of the dog. People usually wrongly identify a dog as being a Pitbull or Pit mix because it has a big head or a lot of muscle. This makes things even worse.

Between the medias search for ratings, popular myths and pig-headed politicians, Pit bulls and other vicious breeds dont stand a chance. The only ones fighting for them are the loving owners that take care of them, nurture them and know exactly how wonderful they really are. It may seem trivial to a lot of people, but to the thousands of Pitbull owners in the U.S., it is an everyday struggle to keep their families from being torn apart by something as ridiculous as a bad reputation.

need more keep them coming you are great love what your doing. is it ok if i send some of these old school true pit people that over breed &inbreed for gameness your way so they under stand they have been ruining these dogs for years. and its needs to stop. they would rather get on here downing bully dogz & owners that actuality take care of their dogs & show respect and pride in them. instead of helping repair the name and reputation of a great breed (THANKS BOONDOC)

i love pitbulls it so sad win pepoile thak that they are visouies becuse ther not win im 18 im going to opin up my own pitbull rescue  becuse ther very loveing and some say im an angil relley but im not i just relley love animils and pepoil a lot moer then most i hope that one day they can all be free to a good home and pepoile would stop keilling then they dont desuve it

I've had big dogs and small dogs and the ones that I trusted most were the breeds that are wrongly classified as vicious. One of the females we had (was 15 years old when she passed away) was born to a pure bred pit bull mom and the father was the husky wolf cross down the street!

Our shepherds, pit bulls, and labs have always been very social, loyal, loving, family.
