Discovering A Dream: Chapter 15 Part 2

"There's something I need to tell you Kevin." I began.

This was that moment, where confusion was tested to it's limits. My head felt light, and the freedom phased between my body, and the outside world. Like I had a bubble surrounding me, denying freedom the chance to leave, fighting for it to stay. Freedom felt amazing, and that's when I realised, marrying Kevin wouldn't take away that freedom. It would replace the freedom, with belonging. I didn't have to run anymore. I had a place for me, a home. Somewhere I was always welcome and cared for.

"Ever since I met you Kevin, things haven't been the same. You're the most amazing person I have ever met. You're so strong, and passionate. Exactly what I need." I smiled, joyful. Feeling something was one thing, but expressing that with words was much harder. I'd never being the poetic sort, but I hoped I could emphasise this exact feeling to Kevin.
"I don't see where your going with this." he admitted, shaking his head.
"Kevin." I sighed. "I love you." With those 3 words, I had conveyed all the emotion which had just rushed through my body. Freedom, fear, confusion, elation. All those feelings, were powered by one giant feeling. One that filled me so high, that I couldn't ever be defeated. Love.
"I love you too Hayley." He smiled.
"Kevin." I asked. "Will you marry me?"

The look on Kevin's face said it all. The emotion of love, suddenly felt betrayed. Hurt and despair filled my lungs, like the ocean air once had. I couldn't breathe it out. I couldn't let this emotion be true.

"Hayley, Hayley, Hayley." he chuckled, pulling me in closely. "I thought you were breaking-up with me." he admitted, pink wisping across his bare cheeks. Kevin wiped away my tears and held my face tightly. "Ever since I met you, my life hasn't been the same." he said, repeating my words. "I thought I'd only get one big break in this life. To live my dream. But then you came along, and it's like all my dreams came true. You're more than I could ever have imagined." he admitted. "Can I tell you a story?"
"Of course." I agreed.

Kevin sat down in the sand, pulling me in to join him. No escape necessary. I rested my head upon his broad shoulders, while he enclosed me in his arms. I felt safe, protected.

"The day I first saw you, when you were backstage, seems so long ago now." he rememberd. "There was something about you, which was different. You had a certain spirit in you, which was so possitive, you couldn't help but smile around you. You were stunningly beautiful." he admitted. While he talked I could sense when he was smiling. His shoulders immediatly raised and slouched when he remembered something happy. "And oh so graceful." he laughed, sighing heavily. "When I didn't call you, I hated myself." he groaned. "I thought I was saving you pain, but that was all I caused you."
"Thank God you did." I giggled. Enjoying hearing the confirmation that Kevin loved me equally, if not more.
"When I was given a second chance, I wasn't going to waste it. You were the only one I wanted, the only one I needed." he confirmed. "My heart only loved, to love you." he whispered, kissing my cheek, softly. "When I'm onstage, and all the cameras are flashing, I only think about you. You're the brightest flash that's ever hit my life, and you only get brighter." he finished, a tear weaving it's way down his cheek.
"What are you doing Kevin?" I asked.
"Tonight wasn't just about your birthday." he confessed. "I had a big plan to have an amazing night, and then I, was going to propose." he explained, emphasis on the I. "But you and your craziness ruined my plan." he chuckled.
"Ohh Kevin." I sympathised. "What are we like." I laughed, wiping away the tears on his face.
"To answer your question, yes I will marry you." he smiled. Kevin reached into his suit pocket, and pulled out a velvet box, containing a wedding band. "But will you marry me?" he grinned.
"Of course." I agreed, ecstatic. Kissing him passionatley, until we fell backwards into the sand.
"I love you Hayley Stevens." he said.
"I love you too, Kevin Jonas." I smiled, kissing his cheek, gently. "This has been the best birthday ever."

And that's how I went from Hayley Stevens, to the future Mrs. Jonas.

Sunday: Prepare For Jonas/ Bestie Sleeps!!!

Plus, finding time to write more chapters, of course :D
