The last moments of Betty Blue 37.2° le Matin by Jean-Jacques Beineix. Back in 1986 (and through to 1989) this was the best film, so very right for its time.

Why her moods? I know my own answer but leave for you to make up your own.

Beatrice Dalle and Jean-Hugues Anglade (spelling?) both make this a memorable experience. Back in the day I think that all of us boys (and most of the girls) watching this fell in love with Betty a little bit. And the men and the women too, I bet...

The music is Gabriel Yared, while nice tracks, the most gripping would be this and the last on the soundtrack

which I decided to upload since I couldn't find it easily anywhere. Enjoy.

  • Is this clip from the directors cut? I don't remember the image of the cross in a film, in my opinion, otherwise void of religion.
