Demonstrates the user interface behind this serious game aimed at effecting political and social change through nonviolent strategy.
You assume the role of the architect of the movement against the repressive regime, and you use the information available on the political, military, economic, social, religious, and cultural context of the setting of the scenario to plot your strategy. You build alliances, and win people to your side using the people and resources available to you.
Based on input from leaders of real-world resistance movements and historical campaigns of non-violence, the game simulates 14 real-world scenarios from bringing down a dictator to women's suffrage, to workers' rights, all designed using a set of tools built into the game and available to the end user.
BreakAway is actively looking for clients to help us develop these tools into custom software applications on our mosbe platform.
It's called A Force More Powerful. It would be nice to try out the role of a dictator in a more realistic setting like this, and better understand the paranoia, fears, increasing sense of isolation and corruption etc. as the ruler turns to the dark side!
