Mammut - Svefnsykt music video

Sung by the Icelandic rock band Mammút and directed by Hilmir Berg Ragnarsson and produced by David Cross., the song "Svefnsykt" reached the 1st spot at radio station X Dominos 97.7 a month before the album release.

Mammút was also nominated for the BEST ALBUM and THE VOICE OF THE YEAR (leadsinger Kata) at the 2009 Icelandic Music Awards!

Example: Svefnsýkt: Svefn is sleep, yes, but "sýkt" refers to that she is sick, or germinated (whatever you call germs germing in your body). Fast means hard. Verð can mean price, but it can also mean "to be" (sometime in the future she'll be). Beini can mean bone, but also to point at something. Að þér means here "at you"..and so on and so on. She doesn't always make much sense with her singing, so it might be hard for me to try and translate, but I'll try, a bit more sober.
