@TheDisexists Hi Alan, I managed to pick up a vinyl copy of Strange News too, an under-rated album I reckon. I love the song Animal from that LP. I've got Fish Tales and Swarthy Songs from back in the day but I didn't realise The Venus Trail had got a vinyl release. I'll be looking out - I'd love to get my hands on that!

I also have had a 3Ds revival round my ears lately. I found a copy of Strange News from Discogs recently. Which reminds, that's also where I landed a copy of The Venus Trail, which was released on vinyl through Flying Nun UK way back in 93. And indeed I bought mine off a UK seller. I've been keeping a blog and working my through the 3Ds catalog at wordpress under the name alanbumstead. Anyway, great to flick through your videos and see what I've been missing in the past few years away from NZ.

Wow, some amazing reissues there. Looks like I need some money....
