@dragonpopsicles101 once was a mans dance, occaisionally woman would dance but they used to b considered whores. Men lost interest and became a female dominant dance, after Rukmani Arundale took initative in this style, Its simply marvelous dance when both man and woman dance!

I only recently heard about bharathanatyam and kathakali dancing, and I was wondering why is it that only women do the dances?
