Let's scare Jessica to death/ Trailer (1971)

credit must be given to director John Hancock for pulling these uneven ingredients together and making a masterful job of it. ha ha...this is the funniest movie ever.. i couldn't stop laughing...at 2:22 it sounds like she is saying "im in your butt"...this movie is so bad that its funny!!! she is so creepy she is always smiling.

I always liked Zohra Lampert ever since I saw her in "Splendor in the Grass" and an episode of TVs,"Love American Style . Said I would name our daughter "Zohra" and everyone laughed. :(

My mom once told me about this movie she said it scarred her when she saw it in theaters with her friends.....so i decided to look it up and now i see why. it looks pretty freaky for its time.

Other scenes in which the two women touch or seem tenderly affectionate or solicitous toward each other don't strike me as lesbian-tinged either. Lots of straight women act that way with their female friends. Women are nicer than men.

I love this film; it's an old favorite featuring the underrated Zohra Lampert. It used to be shown on TV late at night now and then--like Carnival of Souls. This trailer makes me nostalgic for the days when the U.S. produced horror films for adults. About the alleged lesbianism: I certainly don't mind that in a film, but I don't see it here. The lake scene borders on a sexual assault on the part of the redhead, but there's no indication that Jessica reciprocates any homoerotic feelings.
