Redcat Rampage MT 1/5 large scale gas rc monster truck sand pit bash @Laval, Qc, Canada

26cc CY engine with DDM Dominator Pipe, Velocity Stack + ddm air filter + TGN pre-filter, 25/32/25/25 gearing, aluminium steering knuckles and mounts, titanium steering turnbuckles, Killer Bee remote kill switch + failsafe, futaba 3pm 2.4ghz transmitter, hitec 5745mg steering servo, hitec 645mg throttle servo.

lost one after 5min and had to run in 3wd. I had trouble driving a straight line for the remaining tank until I lost another one and then the truck wouldn't move anymore because I was missing one in front and one in the rear... also broke body in half after a bad landing.

did not stay in the sand pit as long as I would have liked to but I had a lot of fun!

to be continued...

  • Does it have reverse?

  • That looks really fun.

  • jumps?

  • @Hoyt2012 40+ mph

  • @anth69y As for reliability I have not experience any major issues except maybe for a destroyed bearing inside the rear diff case during my first bash in the sand pit... now it has rubber sealed bearing all over. also note that I don't use stock electronics. Anyway what do you expect from a 35pounds truck... crashing, doing rollovers, big tires... someday something has to break or bend. I'm pretty happy with my current setup.

  • 0:34 it is eletric. not gas. either that or they are running an electric in the back round that exactly matches it. mabye uit is just me.
