Hear The Velvet Underground's debut album the way it was meant to be heard, on original 1967 Vinyl, in Stereo from Verve Records.
By far one of the most sought after, and influential albums of the 20th Century, here is The Velvet Underground's 1967 Debut, The Velvet Underground & Nico. This is the rare original pressing with the famous Andy Warhol Banana sticker cover. The Banana has been unpeeled, and is in nearly complete condition. Over the years, the tip of the banana has come off, but it is still 98% there. The album only sold about 10,000 copies with the banana sticker in '67, and is becoming very rare in unpeeled condition. This is one of the most influential rock albums of all time, and was named #13 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums list. This is a must have for any record collection.

@retromodstore it's an original, with eric emerson uncensored. the disc is in pretty good shape. no banana sticker though. paid only 10 bucks so i can't complain. but yeah, i wouldn't say the mono mix is too much different. not even that much 'punchier'

i have the mono version. there is actually very little variance in the mix
