I think David Caruso truly is a good character...granted, Horatio Caine is goofy and merely fun to watch; however, DC's most powerful and brilliant performances, in my opinion, belonged to his parts in King of New York and of course, NYPD Blue...I've yet to see Proof of Life, but I've heard good things about DC's work in this picture

Good movie -- I think Caruso stole the scenes he was in. Although I'm not a big fan of Caruso as a lead actor, he's a really good character actor when given supporting parts in movies.

Thanks. Yes he certainly did steal those scenes. I also enjoy him as a leading actor eg Kiss of Death; see my vid. One of his best along with Mad Dog, Into The Homeland and Proof of Life.

It is a movie (2000). An excellent movie, one of David Caruso's strongest performances as Dino.
