@Caleb2296 Well here's what happened, when they did the reunion tour they kept Bruce and Eric to the side. They still got paid (not as much as they did when they were playing with the band) and they were going to rejoin if Peter and Ace ever left. After a year Bruce just quit, period but Eric stayed with and when Peter's contract ended they were able to get Eric back just like that.

Eric Singer was the right choice after Eric Carr passed away. Funny facts about both drummers, they both were quoted for knowing all the guitar solos when Kiss played.
I miss Eric Carr...He died the same day Freddi Mercury died...To bad Freddie got most of the attention but not in my house....Eric is still sadly missed by me.

@vonroden Bruce said in an interview that he'd be almost hurt if KISS did a 'return of revenge' tour, and went no-makeup, he'd almost be hurt if he wasn't invited back. Bruce basically didn't want to be the spaceman/ace. It wasn't his thing
