  • Hi Erin - wondering if you can help me - my first yudu attempt and I have a slight halo of ink on my finished product - can you give me some idea of what happened?

  • @0525holly

Hi! What were you printing on? Canvas? -You might have used too much pressure. Things like canvas, wood, & paper require less pressure since there is no where for the ink to go...however on T-shirts it soaks it up so you can be firmer. HTH!

  • Hi - quick question for you. My first attempt at yudu and there is a halo of ink on parts of my finished image - any ideas on what I did wrong?

  • @0525holly

    See above. :)

  • Hi Erin, Could you please tell me if when you are burning your designs into the emusion and you want to put more than one on there like you have, if you have to put all of your designs on there at one time or can you have one design and then add more later? Also how light sensitive is the emulsion after it has already had a design burned into it?

  • @Lisagayle135

Yes, I put them all on there at the same time and then use packaging tape to tape off the ones Im not using so that the ink wont go through them. If you want to do one design at a time you can cut your emulsion to the size you need and then just burn that design in and then keep adding bits of emulsion + designs until your screen is full.

Once you design is burned in you need to rinse it out right awayafter that its fine to have in the light.

  • Thank you for your video very informative - to those who think that the Yudu is problematic...I have NEVER had a problem with the Yudu and I've had mine for a year.

  • Yudu is garbage. But YOU like it because you are willing to stay with equipment that causes problems that REAL screen printing and correct supplies/tools does not cost or cause. SOME are willing to go out and spend the same or even less than Yudu and get BETTER equipment and results. Those who love yudu probably also love changing really messy baby diapers. Yudu is JUNK ...period. The problems people have with yudu are a direct cause OF the yudu. Only lazy crafters fall for YUDU.

  • Nice job. Pretty cool video. Screenprinting rules! ☠

  • @youteesdotnet The Yudu is an all in one product...easy for crafters to understand. Not everyone wants to become a professional screen printer. From all of the youtube reviews...it appears the Yudu is great for burning images...cheaper ways to modify the cost of supplies would be to purchase liquid emulsion and a flooder...etc. You have your products...which look great...but commenting on every single yudo video posted kind of make you look petty!

  • This is nothing more than a toy! It is more marketing hype than screen print reality. WHY would you pay more to print with a YUDU than it costs to do it the way REAL screen printers do it? See my 'All About Screen Printing' videos and you will soon know the reality. Get pro advice not the marketeer hype. Also see the video: 'YouTees vs YuDu Screen printing' here on youtube. 'Yu' will be glad you did. As a REAL screen printer...it HURTS to watch this being aimed at those who want to SP.
