I was being half serious half satirical. Obama isn't directly responsible for introducing a power hungry government--government is instinctively always trying to assert its power. We've seen that in this country since John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson.
However, these impersonal forces that are driving the U.S. towards a more centralized planning state such as that of Sweden or even the U.S.S.R. are not being curtailed by Obama. If anything, he is accelerating them.

WHat may work in a smaller, more homogenous country like Sweden is a disaster in bigger, more diverse places like Russia or the U.S. Look what happened to the USSR, it imploded. We are marching straight in that direction, and Comrade Obama is leading the way.

This unholy alliance of big-government and big-business will wreck us.
