  • This IS Corbucci's masterpiece & one of Morricone's greatest under appreciated sound tracks.

  • The beginning reminds a lot the choirs on 2001 - A Space Odyssey.

    Then the harmony becomes clear.

    Greatly descriptive sense of 'haunting'

  • @stefbarone

The 'choirs' are György Ligeti's Lux Aeterna

    :-)

  • Ennio is a master

  • @dapoetmaster It's amazing you don't hear too much praise for the soundtrack, even in the best review for this film, you usually see the usual 'and a great score from Morricone as usual', but I honestly think this is in his top 5 best.

  • Another gem in the immense productions of the italian 60'

  • Reminds me off going around in Tall Trees in Red Dead Redemption, so scary with those goddamn killer bears!

  • Sounds like something from the game fable.

  • @stefbarone

Yes, it sounds like Györgi Ligetis 'Lux Aeterna'.

  • This is a wonderful soundtrack, one of my favorite from Ennio Morricone.

  • sublime, j'adore, ca planne!!
