Interaction with an Augmented Reality Avatar

A 3D markerless tracking demo. There is no way to hide : even if you use the pad to make the avatar go behind the house, the camera can move freely and find him.

Well, it turns out the Youtube compression method works very badly with the image of the ground in this video. Still, I prefer this to big black and white markers ;-)

How did you get your right hand there at the beginning to appear in front of the augmented area?

Or was the texture real and placed on the table? For there is a slight greenish reflection on your hand.

Eveything is real except obviously the avatar. The texture on the table looks unreal because of the way Youtube compressed the video.

you are wearing glasses with this stuff in it and you go play somthing like D&D with it.

you will be able to see everything on the map by just looking around IRL!

and thats just a small thing of many!

Please, Microsoft or someone with lots of cash, please make lots of games with AR and put those couch potatoes to move their butts in order to play a game and interact in the real world!! Someone needs to invest in this!!
