U.S. Senator and Senate candidate Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., released a new television ad, entitled "Friday Nights," as part of his fall media campaign. The ad portrays Isakson at a Georgia high school football game discussing how he fights for Georgia's conservative values in Washington. Beginning on Wednesday, the ad will air in media markets across the state including Albany, Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Macon and Savannah.

"During these challenging times, I have been in the thick of the fight against the job-killing Obama-Reid-Pelosi agenda while promoting job-creating economic policies," said Isakson. "I ask Georgia voters to send me back to Washington in November so that I can continue working to get our country back on track through growing jobs in the private sector, making the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts permanent and protecting our conservative values."

The television ad script is below:

JOHNNY ISAKSON:

The sidelines are a great place to watch a football game, but when it comes to fighting for Georgia, I'd rather be in the thick of it.

Whether it's fighting government-run health care, trillions in new spending, liberal Supreme Court nominees or higher taxes, my first job in the Senate is to protect our conservative values—that's why I went to Washington, and that's why I come home to Georgia almost every weekend.

I'm Johnny Isakson and I approve this message, and I'll continue to fight for the Georgia we love.
