This song is from my first Douglas Trowbridge album in 1985, "Songs Unspoken" titled "Where Dreams Are Born". This was aired on the Park City "Mountain Morning Show" with, host Jen Hardman on 9-29-09 at 7am. Hope you enjoy it! ~Richard Douglas Trowbridge Souther

  • Richard Souther and Lyle Mays have moved me over the past 20+ years the way no other pianist has. Props to you, Richard. I hope life is good to you.

  • Very nice, Richard!

  • I freaking LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. its soo beautiful. =] it makes my life happy, i wishh i could playy it :)

  • Wow, finally someone has posted this piece. I first listened to this piece in about 1988 when I found it on a Meadowlark sampler CD. I have treasured that CD and played this song countless times over the years, and found a transcription of this music back in 2000. So few people know of this song. I loved your improvs; they gave me a few ideas for when I am playing it.

    Bravo!!

  • Probably my favorite piano piece for over 20 years now,...even though you did change it up a bit from your original meadowlark version. I'd play this at bedtime in my children's rooms, part of the reason my daughter now plays piano.

  • Oh Richard...that song has been one of my all time favorites since I first heard it in 1985 (Meadowlark label). That whole album has worn a groove deep in my soul. Thank you for posting it...what a wonderful way to start my weekend. Peace.
