ollowing hydraulic fluid replacement due to high acidity levels, all hydraulics component are cycled to circulate fluid around the aircraft systems. Blue system hydraulic pump was not on, this is evident as the slats will take twice as long to retract or deploy.

  • When I extend the flaps on my Airbus I motor an engine. They extend & retract faster that way. Plus the risk of a lock out is less and it gives the PTU a break.

  • @pabsan07 Blue pump wasnt on i dont think!

  • Does the APU run or is this pure external powered?

  • @TheOneRaf The APU is running to pressurise the hydraulic reservoirs with air. Airbus logic is that if external power is connected then the external power takes priority. Though you can use APU gen if you want, you just press the power on switch to cross over!

  • Hi!! I'm a super fan of you and your videos. I'm Spanish, and I would ask you a question abou the yellow system. Why does the yellow system pump make that sound?

  • @Adridel94 The noise is not the yellow pump! Its the PTU. The constant whine in the back ground is the yellow pump. Have some more videos to add very soon!!
