Paula Gloria and her husband, Joe Barton, a 40 yr pot activist were recently busted on Dec 22nd 2011 and went to court Jan 17, 2012 in Hurley, New York and had a pleasant time but the local prosecutor was having a bad day and resorted to "Your honor I think they are crazy. and shouldn't be allowed to defend themselves" which won't fly well since four previous judges have allowed Joe to defend himself and one even told him he did better than most of the lawyers in his court. Tune in Feb 7th for the next episode of our fearless couple fighting for truth, justice and the American way!

Just because a cop doesn't read you your rights doesn't mean they don't exist. They do. They always exist. The cops don't 'give' you your rights. They are inherent by virtue of the fact that you were born on this planet. Accept their oath and bond. Try this: "Are you a public servant?" Yes. Am I the public? Yes. "You are dismissed." They have no authority over you. None. You don't have to talk to cops. So don't.

It's the judges, prosecutors and cops who need the psych evals because they actually believe they somehow have authority over anyone. Amazing. I would say "I am in want of competent counsel". You can't re-present yourself. This is what they are using to determine if you get a psych-eval. So if a judge asks if you are representing yourself and you say yes, you better know procedure because he's going to treat you just like an attorney. Actually, these aren't even courts. I wouldn't even go.
