Pacemaker is unable to sense the patient's own normal contractions. This increases the chances of having an R on T Phenomenon. Sensitivity of pacer must be adjusted per protocol to desired response.

  • It is failure to sense and failure to capture in the same time ,there is not capture beat after the spike before the sensing beat

may be because the setting is inappropriate in both of pacing output or pathology of the heart and low sensitivity setting

  • Looks more like VOO pacing with intermittent non-capture. As in the beginne there IS capture for the first 3 beats. The 4th spikes has no QRS so: non-capture. In VOO modus there is no sensing!
