@lucy9359 Actually, he was an Anglican bishop. And not just pentecostals believe it. There's a remnant in nearly every denomination. But it is very true!

@cloudbusterman Just a couple corrections, a better translation would be "euangelion," as that first gamma be pronounced as a nu, due to the fact that there are two gammas right next to one another. And second "angel" wouldn't be a good translation, although you are correct in recognizing that "angel" comes from angelos, or "messenger." Sorry, just being nitpicky haha, :)

@dyersinvegas probably for 2 reasons the only believers who still believe this are pentacostal and he is wearing a catholic collar and or those who he preaches to don't believe this lol I am actually a charismatic believer and I totally don't care what denomitation he is it is the truth!

In truth, the word translated as "Gospel" is Euaggelion" "Good Angel/Message"; the word "news" in contrast refers to what is new, a here-and-now error that Jesus was trying to defeat with his completion of eternity/ immortal soul-conscience ideas & proofs.
The defeat in mind of deified dictators (Caesar), deified courtiers, deified mob, Seneca and the deified state really needs to be spelled out, as democracy, mobocracy, oligarchy, demagogy, tyranny and statolatry all tend to merge into a unity.
