I tweaked out some of the little snags that were present in the same solo that I posted, played with my red Charvel.

It's actually a two guitar solo. Right at the cut between guitars one and two, I accidentally muted the high E. You can tell it's missing...

I would have had to cut this note short anyway, because guitar two comes in with pick up notes that overlay guitar one, but that's no excuse...

You always kick up a notch live, so this songs gonna come out just fine.

  • This solo IS kick ass, but you have two breaks that sound like pregnant pauses... I'm sure timing to the backing song? This I heard and taped with the Allmans at Woodstock 94, can I upload a clip from that on You Tube?

  • Hey Bill... Yes, I mention the one "pregnant pause" in my comments about the vid. I shot this vid as an aid while learning the solo, preparing to play it with my band, so it certainly isn't perfect. Sure, upload the Woodstock 94 vid. I'd like to see it.

  • Hi :) Amazing :) What effects you use and what amp ?

  • that was damn close if not exact,

i love to improv on that song

  • put a tear to my eye bro, that was fantastic

  • Nice Riff dude...can you tab that thing out...hard to see your strings for the bends and all and the stuff up past the 15th fret and that far below. Thanks for sharing your sound.

  • DUDE OMG I WANNA LEARN THIS SO BAD. WHERE DID YOU by ear?

  • very good i can only play the solo thing at the very beginning

nice guitar i really want a prs too much money tho

  • not bad! i think you should use less distortion (go for a more blues-rock sound, less shred) and you should use vibrato on some of the notes that ring out. also try getting your vibrato a little slower, a little less "nervous". this is just my personal oppinion, keep on playing!
