JOHNNY BENSON 103 ORIGINAL GANGSTA PARTY CUT

This is the original cut of the "Wicked Gangsta Party" scenes in Johnny Benson's Adventures in the Blogosphere. The Huey character and his purple pants were originally referenced to in the "yearbook queen of the herpes" scene but he was cut out alltogether because I wasn't able to shoot a cut away flashback to Johnny, Carl, Sterling (their old friend mentioned), Genevieve (the french girl mentioned) and Huey in high school. Here is that flashback as it was in the script. This would have made Huey's presence at the gansta party more significant.

JOHNNY
"No it couldn't. The reason neither of us cares about leaving high school is that we don't know any of these people. It was just you, me, and Sterling."
CUT TO:
EXT. HIGH SCHOOL - DAY
Johnny, Carl and STERLING, a kid dressed in a stereotypical french garb, stand under a tree. HUEY, a small Asian kid walks up to them holding a bread sandwich in his hand which is wrapped with a plastic sandwich baggy. He wears purple pants and Velcro shoes.
CARL
"Hey Huey, where did you get those purple pants?"
Huey looks at Carl, then walks away. GENEVIEVE, a french girl, runs in like a charging football tackle, grabs Sterling by the arm and takes him away.
GENEVIEVE
"Au revoir!"
CARL (v.o.)
(with French flare)
"And Sterling went c'est la vie with Genevieve."
JERK (O.S.)
"Hey asses!"
A dodgeball flies through the air and knocks Carl over. Johnny looks at Carl falling and a pink strawberry milkshake flies through the air and hits Johnny. FREEZE FRAME.
CUT TO:
INT. CARL'S ROOM - DAY
Carl rubs is forhead. Johnny hands Carl some more photos to scan. Carl scans them. Carl appears to be making some sort of collage in Photoshop.
