I've uploaded these two songs again and separately. In this vid they are out of sync.
Go to my "playlists" and click on "blues instrumentals". They are listed as "Boogie Dance" and "Frogtime Stagger".

Two country blues fingerstyle instrumentals.
The first one is in drop D and based on the playing of Lonnie Johnson, Tampa Red and Dutch wizzard Ton Van Bergeyk. The second one is a slide piece in standard tuning based on Nick Katzman's "Frogtime Stagger"

Check out my new cd at Youtune Records
http://www.youtunerecords.com/daddystovepipe.html

You can find the first song in drop D called "Boogie Dance" on the cd too.

TABLATURE AVAILABLE (at small cost) FOR THE SLIDE SONG - SEND ME A PM IF INTERESTED

  • I have a question that I was hoping you could answer: a lot of my friends are big fans of Belgian Ale and that are afraid that, if Belgium splits into two countries that this will somehow disrupt the flow of their precious ale. Do you think that if Belgium splits into two states that Belgian ale will get messed up? There are a lot alcoholics out there that are counting on you guys to keep it together!

  • @vonbrach

ha ha, interesting question...believe me, Belgium is a surrealistic country and will continue to exist - we're moving to a federal state like the US but it's difficult to get that done - the two population groups have different views on this and that will take some sorting out. Sadly, the press prefers to air and publish doomsday messages (bad news sells) of a few loonatics. So rested assured : we will keep you supplied with beer and chocolats till you drop :-)

  • great playing...is that an alternate tuning?

  • Thanks, drop D and standard tuning
