I don't think anybody has excelled a horse show in any version of this talent show

  • At 1:49 when he reaches for his hat, so he pushes the leg, so that the horse's legs go away.

  • Nice job! Anyone with negative comments obviously doesn't know horsemanship! These horses are happy and balanced! Hard work and dedication to get a 1000 lb animal to trust and listen to you... Love it!

  • @horseygal7302 end up trained.

  • @AQHAluverr End up trained.

The only difference is, is that when you bring a horse into an unfamiliar envirnoment. If you have gained your horse's trust, the horse will look to you for reassurance. It will perform and such because it wants to please you. If you use force, the horse will most likely act up. Since it does not trust you, it's intincts will kick in. It won't listen as well, and may affect the overall performance.

  • @horseygal7302 The result is not the same. If a person who uses brutal force to get his horse to perform a trick, the horse eventually gives in. The horse is trained to do those certain tricks, which is why that trainer was able to ride him bridleless. I ride my horse bridleless, and she complies because she is trained that way. That's just the way it is.

If a person who prefers trust to force trains a horse, the horse willingly complies. In the end, they are still being trained. Both horses

Im not trying to be negative, these horse are very cooperative, and it was a nice performance, but some people get the wrong idea on these things.. There are a lot of things that cann go on behind the scenes that people dont realise.

  • @AQHAluverr For example, a man who is a reiner at a barn I used to work at, was extremly rough with his horses. He used submission, not abuse, but those horses got a hard lickin sometimes.. YET he could take his horses bridle off, and have the horse neck rein off his hand. Most people would say "Wow that horse sure loves him", when sometimes horses just tolerate what theyre asked to do.

  • @AQHAluverr Well, what I should have said is, when USUALLY teaching a horse these tricks, horses are bribbed with food, or forced to do them. Ive seen some harsh treatment to make a horse bow, lie down, buck, and rear on command. Yet, the same result is there! The horse looks like its "trusting". Its just funny to me seeing all these people think that these people have worked a miracle or something, when its not hard to be rough to make them do what you want them to do,

  • @mrshorsegirl Totally agree! Those horses were as relaxed as my cat stretched out on the sofa! Love it too!

  • love love love!
