So I decided to finally record Donkey Kong Country Returns after I got far enough into the game, which is at the Cave, or World 4. I have also decided to leave out the intro, since the intro morphs into the stage, I cannot find a reasonable place to cut it and mark "Intro" or "Jungle Hijinxs".
But like Super Mario Galaxy 2, I will place certain conditions upon myself, and they are:
-Donkey Kong/Diddy Kong will not get hit once
-All KONG Letters will be collected
-All Puzzle Pieces will be collected
-Any TIme Attacks will earn a Gold medal
-No Squawks, Banana Juice, etc. will be used
I will also upload the normal mode stages first, then Mirror Mode. I will NOT do Time Attack, though.
Here is the first stage you're thrown right into, and like all future levels, prove to be quite lengthy. But it begins by a wooden creature (unseen) attempting to hypnotize Donkey Kong, but Donkey Kong snaps out of the trance and beats on the tiki creature (seen) by shaking the Wii Remote/Nunchuck. You are then fully mobile and into the level. This level also introduces Puzzle Pieces and KONG Letters.
KONG Letters are blocks of the letters K, O, N, and G, and while they are in obvious spots, they can be hard to actually obtain. But some are waiting for you to grab them right there.
Puzzle Pieces are the KONG Letters evil twin, because they vary in amount in each level from 5 to 9 Puzzle Pieces. An unlike KONG Letters, they're hidden in clever spots, and one is always hidden in a bonus area, which like the Puzzle Pieces themselves, are hidden. Entering these rooms places a 3-psecond time limit on you and you must collect all of the items in the room, from the red life balloons to the bananas and banana bunches. But, here's the good part for you people who lose lives often: once you get a Puzzle Piece, it will become transparent, meaning if you die many times in a single run, they'll still count as collected even if you don't physically obtain them. And in order to keep things short, I will list the KONG letters and the Puzzle Pieces, so to those of you who just want the locations of the Puzzle Pieces, here you go. (But however, some may need you to watch the few seconds before them for you to know how exactly to get them.):
KONG Letters:
K - 0:47
O - 2:18
N - 3:05
G - 4:57
Puzzle Pieces:
1 - 0:16
2 - 0:53
3 - 1:19
4 - 2:04
5 - 2:53
6 - 4:07
7 - 4:53
8 - 5:04
Also, at the end of every level is a Barrel Cannon, which has images flashing on them, one of which is a red balloon (which grants an extra life), a banana bunch, which grants 5 bananas, and a banana, which grants you one banana. However, there is also a DK symbol which will randomize the item you get, and to get quantities of that item, shake the Wii Remote/Nunchuck, and the multiplier will go up. So far the most possible is x15.
I have a question, if you lose all the lives, have you to restart from the beginning of the game, or you have only to restart the level in wich you died? thanks.

@darthfener2 For the first level, if you were to get a game over, retrying would send you to the World 1 Map, which basically means yes, starting the whole level over again in which you got the game over. This does apply to all of the other levels too. Getting a game over in those also sends you to the World Map where you played that level.

@DemiLovatoGirl23 Roll and jump. Roll off a side of a platform, and jump right after.

@07March3 There's no need to post the same comment twice. Shake whatever controller you use while going left or right.
