No, it has always been the people against the government. We all engage in trade and supply and demand, that's natural. But when the government comes in with the power to dole out money and raise the cost of living for small businesses, corporate power becomes a negative rather than a positive because they now follow their rational self interest and proceed to buy out that political power. Take away political power from government to begin with and corporations will be harmless.
