  • as far as synthy filters for guitar, would you recommend the syb-5? does it pick up guitar frequencies well? ive had the Digitech Synth Wah but didnt like its phony tone and sold it

  • @Dustin322

and deadmau5 is a reminder that a good chunk of the people who buy music are not musicians and have untrained ears. people that like deadmau5 would rather dance then talk about the musical techniques. and there's nothing wrong with that.

  • @c32linder i kinda feel the same way. live its a fascinating thing. i could feel the air vibrating in the room. sound almost seems visible at that volume. but it's definitely always lacked order. i see it as an opportunity to escape the fruity loops/audacity era of music.

  • @c32linder somebody like him or myself would record all these electric farts into a sampler, and then use it in a controlled manner.

  • @c32linder everything needs to be in balance. Just noise a lone, like this, sounds like a train wreck to most people. But then, a chord progression that sounds beautiful to those people probably sounds boring to you. but... someone like Joel Zimmerman combines the two and alas we have the best EDM on the planet. If you don't know, I'm talking about Deadmau5.

  • @Dustin322 eh If I want to make electronic sounds I use synths in a controlled manner. All good though. I just can't make out anything, it all sounds like broken synthesizers in a tumbler. If these circuit bent pedals could allow you control pitch, oscillation, envelope settings, etc in a controlled manner, then I'd be down.

pedals can handle quite a bit. you should look into some noise artists. you might not care for the music but it's a good example of the pwoer those things can push.

  • This is sweet to my ears in the weirdest way. Keep at it!
