  • If Ron Paul had gotten this much media coverage during the campaign, he might have won.

  • This guy is unique. The US is so lucky to have a guy like him.

  • I love Ron paul he thinks LONG term and not Short term...... He's totally rational about civil liberties and economics

  • The Unites States did nothing wrong enforcing he No-Fly Zones in Iraq. I refuse to debate the Iraq War because I did not support the decision to invade the rest of Iraq but the No-Fly Zone was the only way to a) contain Saddam Hussein following his failed attempt to annex a sovereign country b) to prevent his massacering Kurds and Shiites. It would have been Rwanda-level type of genocide if the U.S. left in 1991.

  • susan has been so sexy for so long.

  • If these recent Historians had simply done any archeological digs there view of this period would be different. In fact there was prosperity in most of Europe after the ".Fall of Rome". As for the Moors yes they were invading and aggressively attempting to spread Islam around the world as they had succeed in conquering the rest of the Middle East and some of Asia , and of course North Africa.

  • I would have to disagree with that statement! For the following reason, The word "depression" to describe European social or economic situation is a term that does not fit the bill in that time. Also you describe the Dark Ages as if Europe was an underdeveloped backward people after the "Fall of Rome" this is a recent view of history in last century that has been propagated mostly by uninformed and historically incorrect conclusion from prominent university & professors.

  • True! It is much more complicated than that! My interpretation is that Europe was dominated by Moors and arabs and kept up within its borders; added to the fact Religious dictatorship was fighting or at least monopolizing within itself 5000 years of scientific development. Europe was in a deep depression that lasted close to 1000 year and no one can contest that fact.

  • The so called "Western Dark Ages" were actually not dark at all! It is a misrepresentation of history, a lot historians have begun to disagree with that dogmatic view of that period in history. But I agree with you otherwise.

  • That first caller is pretty disrespectful of Ron Paul.

  • ugh....the bailout sucks!!!! we should have just let the whole damn thing go down and deal with the pain now before it gets worse.

  • swiss...NAFTA?? Overseas? The only body of water between Mexico, USA and Canada are the Great Lakes and The Rio Grande. Please learn the difference of Jobs sent to China and India and Free Trade with Mexico and Canada. There is a difference. I am not for NAFTA and not for alliance with ANY particular country...but in order to have credibility to what we are opposing...we need to know what we are talking about first. Just an observation. *wink*
