  • When do u start to turn?

  • @turtlebum0 It depends on your car - each is slightly different. If you go to the following link, there is a detailed explanation of how to find it. If you go to the drivinghelp website, click on lessons and then bay parking, there is a detailed explanation of how to find your point of turn,

  • Passed my test yesterday, this video was the reason i nailed my reverse bay park. Thank you very much :)

  • @Superkha Hey! Brilliant - well done! Your life will now change forever - freedom!

  • My trouble is when the car does not enter the bay

  • @PHATSTR Once you have your point of turn, coming in wrong is usually caused by changing the speed of car or steering. Practice at trying to keep the same speed of both each time you do it. If you do come in wrong, simply move forward and adjust - the examiner is not expecting perfection. It's ok to adjust the car just as long as it doesn't become evident you haven't got a clue what you're doing!

  • John Lennon as a driving instructor!

  • @rfctopbloke This is a free video - I gave my time to do this for nothing. If it was professionally made and you had to pay to watch it, I might agree. The important thing is the bay park, not trivial stuff like what jacket I'm wearing. Sheesh!

  • @mrvideouploads1 you use gas as well. in fact, to do this particular manoeuvre you first have to burn the engine out (full rev count) so that the car can function properly when reversing.

  • do you do all this with clutch control or use gas aswell please i want to know all this before i start driving?

  • 0:33 *perpendicular

  • Don't you find that a lot of parking bays are so narrow that you can't open the door and get out easily??? It also makes it far more difficult to park if some idiot has gone over the line or very close to it. It seems to be the latest thing, paint as many small bays as possible to get the most cars in. They should all be the same width as those marked disabled, it would be easier to park and get in/out the car. Thank God for parking sensors, you can't even see out the back of modern cars!

  • i scraped my car today tryin to bay park, only passed 3 weeks ago, dont think i wil eva get hang of it,im ok if theres no cars at either side of me but if there is i just cant do it :-( any advice on this wud b helpful

  • Today I was doing this manouvere, but I was going forward into the parking bay from an angle (I had to steer to the right to get it in)... but I ended up not being in the dead centre of the parking bay space, it was a problem with my steering. My instructor's car is quite small, how do you know to start steering so that all of the car ends up in the centre of the parking bay space?

  • Driving is so stressful. Wish i have lots of money so i can just get a driver! LOL

  • @rfctopbloke umad bro? you seem mad?
