Here, I begin a special video series on YouTube which present to you THREE Caravan-based shmups for the Japanese Sharp x68000/x68030 home computer series which reminds us all of the time-attack shooting modes on the PC-Engine/TurboGrafx-16 that made them so smoldering damn good in the first place!!! ^_~ !

First, we begin with my own original no-miss completed play of a 5-minute mode of Super Star Shooter, presented by the Dotmap Brothers as the first of three games that I will show you, which is EXACTLY like original the 2-minute and 5-minute modes of Super Star Soldier on the PC-Engine (right down to the many sound effects!), only this time with some great adrenaline-pumping music as well as two individual score rankings for each of these modes!! This game was released in 1991 for the original x68000/x68030 computer series, just 12 years before the same game was remade for the Game Boy Advance emulators as "Super Star Shooter Advance"... my!!! :D

This original game Super Star Shooter -- shown right here for you -- was released for the x68k back in 1991. The remake of this very game entitled Super Star Shooter Advance was for the GBA emulators on the 'net 12 years later (leading us to 2003 here!)... so, I believe you are right, ZeetherKID77. ^^
