  • what were y'all doing? holding it up?

  • @armykiller96 No, we were moving the cribbing along with the vehicle as the wrecker pulled it to prevent it from turning over. You can see every now and then them kick the cribbing back into place.

  • Here is my question, why arent the medics or the other police officer helping free the trapped person. Where I come form the Medics and the LEOs help when there is someone trapped. Is can be clearly seen that ther 4 or 5 firefighters may need a little extra muscle to help em out. Now, if there were 10 or more firefighters, then I wouldnt be so concered. But isnt everyones job in the Emergency service field "To help those in need"?

  • @LAFDExplorer58 There was really no reason for anybody to be on that side of the vehicle anyway. The main thing they were doing is moving the cribbing along as the vehicle moved down the road. Plus, i don't like people that are not fire related around me because I feel like I have to babysit them and they don't have PPE. As you can see I actually even pull the Firefighter with no gear away from the vehicle too. If it was a bad scene and it was needed then I agree you can you other to an extent.

  • Paramedic smoking a cigarette at the scene of a vehicle collision, nice...

  • @JASON8502 what would you be able to do if he was?

  • i know you have no control over what tow truck is dispatched. but a tow truck with a boom would have been a lot safer and much faster to get the victim out. my opinion a rollback should never be dispatched to a roll over/ recovery situation. but i see you guys did a good job keeping the car from rolling on it's side at the one point it was teetering.

  • @marine147258 Doesn't work for me

  • @stormtracker1 Doesn't work for me

  • Nice job guys on the MVA, good use of the flat bed to get the vehicle down from its position. Road did look narrow so it looked like it was harder than normal considering where the vehicle ended. Nice Job!

  • jet her use those rubber gloves on you with smoke on then.....
