You should get a preamp converter and hook up some modest subs, to fill in the low end some more, i bet it would sound even better :D

@nik12937 well, actually, i don't think the mark levinson stereo needs a bigger sub or something like that, because the original sub is perfectly adjusted to get the maximum bass without banging over the other speakers. that's my opinion.

@Eku009 LOL ummm, no dude those speakers suck balls and so does the sub. I had a IS350 and a ES300. The 300 had much better sound because they had pioneers. Lexus got cheap once the fame hit them.

@Randomkaoz it's a 2006 IS 250 with the original sub, the sub has been changed only one time and for a non original maybe a year later when the video was made and you don't need to have super strong bass to be cool, the purpose of these speakers are to make surround sound, not to make you feel like you're in a massage chair. yeah you can put in a bigger sub i don't mind that, i like bass, but the sound has to be clear too.

It's only because they never heard how a real audio system is supposed to sound like. Their home theater is ok. But the their system in lexus is horrible, the only way it would sound really good is if you play rock and roll or country. Because the highs and mid highs are the only things that push out.

But it still doesn't change the fact, that the system in the old lexus from 97 to 01 sounds better then the system in the current IS models. Maybe you have some shitty hearing but it doesn't change the fact that the old system was better. Especially when you wanted to add a bigger sub.

But i feel so much better knowing that their home amps, cost so much more. Because as well all i know, it's the price that your hearing.
