  • @laxmanboolchandani - Thank you my dear friend for the very valuable information. As you can see, many of us have been confused on this "issue" and now everything is clear.

As I said in an earlier comment, even IMDb says "Durga Khote [Daadi Maa / Maharani]"!

    Thanks again and take care.

  • @yuanyuanyuanyin IMDb records are absolutely correct. Daadi Maa is indeed played by Durga Khote. But in the song, its not Daadi Maa, but Parvati (played by Bina Rai), who played the role of wife of Raja Partap (Ashok Kumar) and the male actor in this song is Shankar (Kashinath) and Shomu (Dilip Raj). I am stating these fact from the VCD of this movie only.

  • @hindigeetmala - Thank you my dear friend for the valuable information provided on this "issue".

We all appreciate that very much.

  • Hello Yuan. Regarding ur question earlier. That womans name was Sulochana who used to play mother roles(mainly portraying as widow). This is not her. I think this is Bina Rai. Quick aging, I guess, because three years prior to this film, she played as Arjumand( Mumtaz Mahal, queen of Shah Jahan ) in Taj Mahal. So my dear friends, those of you challenging Yuan. This is NOT Durga Khote. Durga Khote had wide nostrils.
