ive just come back from amsterdam for new years eve, they have it so sorted there its unreal, there is alot of pickpocketing of drunk tourists but there are no violent crimes as they have cameras everywhere around amsterdam especially the RLD. the police and government in general are very liberal and you are rarely going to get locked up for a non violent/non serious crime. America is way worse that is all i will say.
