Be Prepared, Vehicle Emergency Bag

In January, 2011, a huge ice and snow storm blanketed the Southern United States. People were caught stranded on the roadways for 24 hours + in some cases. This kind of scenario proves that preparation through good planning and forethought is a very necessary thing. I urge everyone to pack up an emergency kit to keep in the vehicle. No one is going to help you in a disaster/survial situation. It is up to you to be prepared for whatever comes your way.

lol... I've got that very same toiletries bag (strong moms). Works great for tactical needs.

I have to be careful what I keep in my truck during our blazingly hot summers. You don't want stuff melting or going bad.

I'd include "emergency blankets". They're packed up small and help to retain 90% of body heat. You can buy them for less than $3.00 at Gander Mountain or Wal Mart.

I keep a bag in my truck, but it isn't nearly as good as yours. I think I'll fix that!
