I am just wondering if I, as a dialysis patient, can be a Jehovah's Witness. Don't get me wrong: I do not want to be one, I just want to know if I could be one. Or would the governing body expect me to die a slow painful death rather than have my blood cleansed?
I remember before I got saved and dedicated my life to Christ, this Witness came by my house. She and I spoke at length about my views on religion. The next week the lady's husband came by my house, and he was ready and willing to prosylatize me. But then we started talking about health and happiness and I brought up the fact that I had been a dialysis patient for a couple of years. I never saw anymore Witnesses at my house!
