  • Much/ much deeper that 30 years ago!

... thanks for this voice, these lyrics!

  • i loved when on the tv they switched over to the london and elton was calling the usa his friends from across the sea or something like that, its the season of friendliness and we are all one! :D

  • He is singing in a lower key thats why the falsetto is not there! Not that he coundnt sing in the higher key but prob cause his voice probs again with the threat of the nodual's returning!! Great that he has found a deeper soundin voice but still capturing the essence of his sound at the same time!! :O) Fab stuff!!!

  • @borntobewilder9 I'm 15 and love the classic rock! I am really surprised u don't know who Alice cooper is????!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mjhart123, You are a youngin' and know more than many! You should be proud. I know who Bieber is, but no one else you mentioned.

  • @borntobewilder9 Yeah, i agree. I am 18 and my favourite singers are Elton, Dolly and Alice Cooper.i'm not into all this Justin Beiber and Cheryl Cole stuff, they have no talent compared to legends like Elton, Alice and Dolly. I also like his song Tiny Dancer and I Geuss Thats Why They Call it The Blues.

  • @mjhart123, Yeah! When Goodbye YBR was released, I was more into hard rock. But certain sounds like the intro piano on Bennie and the mysterious, " Funeral For A Friend / Love Lies Bleeding" really changed my mind about what is good and what isn't. I still like listening to Madman and Goodbye LP's. That's when he was at his best, I think.

  • @borntobewilder9 Yeah its true that his voice changed and he lost his Falsetto and his voice become deeper. Elton sounds different in his studio recordings as he always uses different harmonies and tones. His backing singers do sound similar though. Well i think we can both agree that Elton is good no matter what lol : )

  • @mjhart123, Could be true. However, when I see concerts, it's quite obvious that most bands are not singing. They sound just like they did in the studio. It takes the fun out of the concerts. If I want to hear studio music, I'll do it on my own. If this is the new Elton, it's not too bad, though.
